Shop Floor

As part of the refit, we decided to rip up the old carpet to make way for a new laminate wood floor, and, as usual with these kind of things, we encountered a small snag as the floor was a lot more uneven than we expected…
Luckily, our husbands are quite handy and spent Saturday morning keeping 2m apart and levelling it out for us (thanks guys!) while Laura braved the madness of the DIY store for painting supplies. So, now we’re ready to crack on with the painting to give the shop a bit of a freshen up and put our stamp on the place. Hopefully this week we’ll also get our new shop signs up and, weather dependant, the shop front painted – another job that we’ll be roping the guys in to help with.

Given the fact that the shelves are currently empty and we have no floor, we are obviously not going to be opening on 15th June with the other retailers! We will be working hard to open as soon as possible and hopefully we’ll be able to give you all a date soon… watch this space!
